    About us

Alien Artefact records is the first independent electronic music label in Yugoslavia.

The label was founded in summer of 1998 and has been fueled by enthusiasm ever since. Most of our artists are avid techno listeners and have grown along with electronic music through the years. Because of the life in these parts, home-based studios are where most of the production and editing is done. Our intention is to make this fine music available to you.

Most of the artists we work with come from Yugoslavia at the moment, but we're not limited by it's borders. We think and act globally, and you are welcome to join us, work with us and play with us. As the material piles up, we plan to publish more techno, trance, psychedelic, ambient, and drum 'n' bass. These are our domain, but we are open to other sounds as well. After all, "the roots of our music have grown from other kinds..."
