Korg PROPHECY - Synthesizer

Price : $1600 (?)999ukp(New)

Released :1995

Description

Jouni Alkio : I have only read the manual, hopefully I'll get the synth itself in few weeks...

David Brook I heard this at my local dealer, it's amazing sounding - a definate buy buy synth. the arpegiater is fun for techno/trance type musicvery FAT sounding, compared with my Juno 106 =)

Sonic Says:- I want one! I had a play at the BMF recently and found it pretty inspirational even in a crowded and noisy demo situation. - I'm not too sure how much of a role the FX play in making it sound impressive. Some of the accoustic simulations are really good as well as the more crazy 'synth' sounds.
I have absolutely no idea how to program it - this does look pretty complex. Plenty of controllers
3 control wheels plus a 'touchey slidey' thing.
Now if i can just sell enough advertising to pay for one.........

Subjective Opinions

Sounds

Comments on the sounds : I haven't seen the instrument live yet

David Brook :This keyboard rules!!you do run into some problems with it's lack of polyphony but the sound quality is incredible and it is VERY expressive like the advertisements and everything say. Buy this if you have the money!!
