April the 18th 1998, 23.00 h Club Industria & Integra Productions present LADY B. (F-Communications/ Barbarella, Cannes - France) plus Integra DJ's support: DJ Sugar Daddy O. DJ Eye DJ Mark Wee 1987 is the period when Lady B. became crazy with the fucking new house music. During 1989, Lady B decided to organize parties on the French riviera with some friends. The winter 89/90 was very hard, just 300/500 people came to these parties. But slowly the parties grew up, and the biggest they did attracted in the summer 91 more than 4,000 people. But because of the bad press in France about techno music (drugs...) the authorities stopped those parties. In 1992, Lady B. started DJing in Cannes, mostly in gay clubs. In January 93, he had the project of a place for house music lovers and also to prove that house music is listened by normal person, and that house music is pure and emotional music and represent good ideas. So in may 1993, the "Barbarella House Restaurant" was open, and he started to DJing again but in raves on august 93. It was very hard the first year at the restaurant, which is actually a club where you can order various meals named by famous house and techno singles. Some of the world's famous DJ's spinned their music in "Barbarella", including Laurent Garnier, Miss Djax, DJ Sneak, Green Velvet, DJ Deep and others. Parallel with his work at "Barbarella" and Cannes' clubs, Lady B. plays in many clubs and raves worldwide. He also played in Belgrade (Yugoslavia), first time on the legendary "Enlitement" rave and the second time at "Pax 96" techno festival, both times supported by Integra DJs. He was also pronounced for "Those Who Rocked It" by famous British "Muzik" magazine for his set in Mr.C's "The End" on F-Communications label party. By the way, Lady B. is a DJ with amazing mixing technique and as well great selection of the most quality house, techno and electro sound that can be found on the Planet. His sets are brilliant journeys from disco house sounds to funky and minimal techno (Jeff Mills, Underground Resistance,...). One of the things that puts Lady B. away from the other DJs is also his outstanding kinky look-wags, platform boots, make-up and shemale outfit. Lady B is also known as a producer, he records for Eric Morand & Laurent Garnier's "F-Communications", which realized few of his really great 12"s like "Vice Versa EP", "The Groove Is Going" and "It's Not Enough" realized under name of Madame B., which is a kind of funky discotech hymn of Yugoslav clubs (limited edition transparent red one-sided vinyl, with the picture of Miss Djax on the label...). You can expect more great stuff on Lady B.'s forthcoming "Mouvement" label. The support for Lady B.'s gig in Belgrade on February 21st will be Integra DJ's Sugar Daddy O., Eye & Mark Wee. flyer for the party available: front & back side F-Communications on the Web: http://www.france-techno.fr/ Integra info: You can expect nice pictures from Lady B.'s gig in Belgrade on this site soon as well as preview of some forthcoming Integra parties.
