Welcome to yutechno's section dedicated to psychedelic trance. To best view
this page, you should have verdana
font installed. Download it, it looks excellent. The site was made for 1024x768,
so it may look a little chunky in 800x600. For those who are visiting this
site just out of curiosity, a very brief introduction. |

Psychedelic trance is a derivative of techno music, among people who are its followers, often reffered to as 604 or goa. I say followers, because there seems to be an unusually strong relationship between music, the audience, and the party, |
| something similar to the Grateful Dead concerts. There are several sounds that all fall under psychedelic trance, even though essentially different. Often one style can be recognized by the geographical area that it comes from. Such are the happy and strong Israeli sound (also frequently reffered to as goa), the |
| more dark European sounds of breaktrance, electro and emotional trance, and the various, the lucid moments captured in sound. Fast beat, usually between 130 and 150 bpm, is a characteristic that makes 604 an excellent music to dance to, especially on open air parties that can last for several days. |

The quality of the connection between the dj and the audience is crutial for a successfull party. Most people agree that choice of music is more important than technical side of mixing, even though combination of both is the best way to have it.
For those of you who often enjoy music at home and appreciate good quality sound but need the privacy of headphones, here is a suggestion.
